5 Drinks With Fruits Of The Forest To Fill You With Antioxidants

Although the fruits of the forest provide us with a large amount of antioxidants, it is not advisable to exceed their consumption due to their high sugar content. One glass a day will be enough

Today we want to leave you some drinks prepared with berries that will fill you with antioxidants. Try them and choose your favorite … or include all of them in your diet to have one feeding richer and more varied.

Antioxidants can help keep your health stable even if you are a little careless, as they protect your body from the effects of free radicals.

This is very important because free radicals can damage cells and increase the risk of some very serious diseases such as heart problems, lung or breast cancer, and many others.

For this reason it is important that your body is full of antioxidants.

  • ¾ glass of milk (180 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (10 ml)
  • Stevia to taste

5. Red berry smoothie

Fruits of the forest

This is one of the best berry smoothies. Although it may seem a bit complicated to make, it is worth it due to its unique taste, creamy texture, presentation and ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 hearty scoop of strawberry ice cream
  • 1 cup of milk (250 ml)
  • ½ cup of raspberries (75 g)
  • ½ cup of currants (80 g)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (50 g)

Process

  • Combine the ice cream with the raspberries and beat until you see that it acquires a creamy texture.
  • Add the few currants, milk and honey for this smoothie.
  • Beat until you notice a slight change in color, odor, and a creamy texture.
  • Serve in small glasses in moderate amounts as this drink has a slightly strong and sweet taste.

We are sure that you will love these smoothies. As always, our recommendation is that you limit your consumption to one glass a day.

Consider that, as well as being rich in antioxidants, berries are also high in sugar, especially when mixed with ice cream or honey.
