Keys To Having Perfect Eyelashes

Would you like to have perfect and defined lashes? For this, it is not necessary to spend a fortune on beauty treatments. You can enjoy an enigmatic and groundbreaking look with these natural and effective keys. You will only need a few tools, a little makeup and a pinch of originality.

In this article we show you how to take advantage of it in the simplest way.

Lashes are not just for highlighting the eyes. Its main function is to protect the eye from external aggressions, such as bacteria or dirt particles. This function is produced thanks to blinking, which prevents unwanted contact with harmful elements and which occurs as a reflex action.

Because of this, it is important that the lashes remain strong and healthy. Without them, we would be exposed to a greater number of infections. Thus, the healthier they are, the prettier and more attractive they will look from the outside.

Five steps to have perfect eyelashes

Apply mascara

This makeup product has a lot of influence on the look. Always choose a good quality product, with natural ingredients to hydrate and care for your lashes. It is also recommended that it be easy to remove, but that it does not slide off right away.

Keep the mask in a cool, relatively humid place to help it last longer. Before applying, remember to clean well with a makeup remover or moisturizer, and then rinse with warm water. Remember that, if you are looking for depth, it is advisable to concentrate on the outer sector of the upper lashes.

Use tweezers to curl the eyelashes

There is no doubt that curved lashes are the most sensual. The tweezers that are responsible for getting this shape are very easy to find, and the process is not painful at all.  You just have to press and hold for a few moments and nothing more.

Separate the lashes

When you are applying the mascara, the lashes tend to stick together, forming groups. If the makeup on top is not of good quality, it will leave clumps. To avoid these inconveniences, place the back of a spoon on top of the lashes and repeat curving up. Then let the mask dry. Next, use a clean old disused toothbrush or, preferably, a special comb.

Use an eyelash brush

Just when you finish applying the mascara and before it dries, place the brush so that the lashes acquire the desired shape. Another good idea is to do it before applying makeup, but only if the mask is of good quality. Also, this will help you remove lashes that are detached from the eyelid or under the eye.

Take care of your eyelashes always

Even if you don’t put on makeup every day, try to keep them in good condition. Never go to sleep without removing your makeup. It is also advisable to apply specific creams to remove the dirt of the day, always with a soft cotton.

You can apply almond oil to massage and hydrate the area. However, try to check first that you do not suffer from any type of allergy to this product.

Natural remedies for eyelashes

These homemade recipes could help you get good results. However, remember to check that you do not suffer from any intolerance to any of the following elements.

Oil blend

In a bowl, place castor, almond, avocado and olive oil in equal parts. All of them contain a wide variety of vitamins, although their mixture is not endorsed as an effective treatment to care for eyelashes.

Use this preparation to remove make-up, soaking a cotton ball. Then apply a drop to the lash line and go to sleep. In the morning, rinse well when washing your face. Be careful not to get the mixture in your eyes, as it could cause irritation.

Chamomile

This herb could help brighten your eyelashes, although there is no scientific evidence to support it. If you dedicate yourself to use it, it is more advisable to use a natural chamomile tea, not the one you get in stores or is already prepared.

Buy the dried flower from a herbalist and place a handful in a cup of boiling water. Let it rest, strain and, when it is cold, soak a cotton ball, which you must apply to the eyelids and eyelashes every night. The application is recommended after having thoroughly removed make-up from the eyes.

Olive oil

It is a home remedy used for hair growth, according to this study by Yonsei University. Apply two drops to lashes every night, using a cotton ball or your fingertips.

Always do it from the bottom up and leave it to act until the next morning.  Do it carefully to avoid getting into the eyes.

  • Avoid curling them when you have already put the mask on, because they will be damaged more easily.
  • If you use eyelash curler, pay attention not to press too hard on the eyelids, because that is where they are born and you can weaken them.
  • Always curl your eyelashes in three parts, gently and taking care not to break them. Thus, the effect you will get will be more natural and at the same time you will be protecting them.
  • It is recommended to apply natural oils (olive, almond, castor) up to twice a week. A good option is white petroleum jelly, to give them a “false” effect, in addition to helping to hydrate the eyelashes. However, it is very important to apply it very carefully as it can cause irritation or cloud vision. Those who may be allergic or prone to acne should also be careful, as it can lead to its appearance.
  • The best thing is to always use specific and approved products.
  • Before applying the mascara, you can apply a multi-effect base to separate the lashes, give them volume, define the curl and leave no clumps when you apply the two layers of color.

Remember that, to have strong and beautiful eyelashes, you must maintain a balanced diet. In the same way, you should hydrate yourself enough and avoid the intake of harmful elements, such as tobacco, drugs or alcohol.
